Fraserburgh Community Council is delighted to announce a range of accessible bikes, including a wheelchair bike and adapted bikes for disabled users, there is also beach wheelchairs for accessing the beach helping make our beautiful beachfront and surrounding area more inclusive and accessible for everyone in the community.
A hoist system is also be available to safely assist individuals onto the beach wheelchairs will feature adaptable fittings to accommodate users of different sizes, from children through to adults.
The bikes are available for community use through the Community Council, with volunteers on hand to assist users in gaining access and making the most of the facilities.
The service is free of charge, with the option to pay a donation which goes towards maintenance and expansion of the service.
Bookings must be made in advance and a suitable time arranged.
