Dionne has been a member of Fraserburgh Community Council since 2021.
Over the last year, she has helped to co-ordinate a number of litter picks around the town, as part of the Litter Picking sub
group.
When not volunteering, Dionne is also known for being a teacher at a local primary school, where she has worked for over 20 years.

Dionne now looks forward to taking on her new role as Chair of the Community Council.
She is excited to work alongside others, in order to further improve our town.
Helena has been a member of Fraserburgh Community Council since 2019 and believes that volunteering is a great way to meet new people and connect with your community.
Helena is also involved with Police Scotland Youth Volunteers (PSYV)
who regularly volunteer within the community.
She also volunteers with Aberdeenshire North Foodbank.
All very different and varied roles and all very rewarding.
Ken is now semi-retired and he joined 4 years ago after he initially provided the Flower Fairies with transport and a trailer to aid in clearing out old plants and debris from the Broadgate planters. His role developed from that to planting and watering.

He and his wife Sylvia (also an FCC member) are ardent caravanners and visit many small towns around the country. He is in awe, at times, of their colourful floral displays within the towns he visits and felt this was missing in our town.
John has been a Community Council member since 2015. Born and bred in Fraserburgh, he is the retired Managing Director and retired Watchman Manager of SFRS, Scottish Deputy Co-ordinator International Rescue Corps, and is the Fraserburgh Community Council Resilience Group Coordinator.

He loves Fraserburgh, the beautiful beach for walking the dog. He thinks Fraserburgh has great tourism potential, and John like so many of us would like to see more industry come to Fraserburgh.
Alison has been a Community Councillor for 5 years. She joined shortly after retiring from teaching and wanted to get involved in something new, to get to know more about Fraserburgh and to help with any projects.
She ‘encouraged’ a couple of friends to join and they became the ‘Flower Fairies.’ The group had a desire to improve the town
Alison has been a Community Councillor for 5 years. She joined shortly after retiring from teaching and wanted to get involved in something new, to get to know more about Fraserburgh and to help with any projects.
She ‘encouraged’ a couple of friends to join and they became the ‘Flower Fairies.’ The group had a desire to improve the town centre, to make it more attractive for locals and tourists alike.
During the last year, she has helped at a local food bank and hopes to continue this in the coming weeks.
Alison has lived in the Broch for nearly 50 years and has made many friends here. She enjoys travelling and when visiting new places, she likes to see other town centres’ floral displays. She thinks the Broch has a lot to offer locals and tourists, but there is always room for improvement!
Arthur works at Gray and Adams as an assistant line manager and also serves the community as an on call fire fighter. He Likes to support the local community and be a voice for the local people and our future generations.

She is also a member of Fraserburgh Arts Group and when she has any time left she is a keen gardner and enjoys walks around the beautiful areas of Aberdeenshire.
Sylvia is now in her fifth year of being part of the FCC. She joined after retiring from over 30 years of primary school teaching and found she had time to be involved in making a difference to the town. Sylvia is a firm believer that floral displays cheer up the town and is also a member of the FCC 'Flower Fairies' sub-commitee.
Willie works at Fraserburgh Academy. He is a
Committee member and lifelong supporter of Fraserburgh Football club
